Here are some highlights:
In February, our 8th graders helped raised funds for their upcoming DC trip in June by selling Valentine cards! The fundraiser was also for the Carla Cowell scholarship fund. The handmade cards were a huge hit! We raised $279 in a few short days!
In March, we celebrated Youth Art Month! We were fortunate enough to have a visiting artist come to our school thanks to the Pamlico County Arts Council. Tunde Afolayan was a wonderful experience for our kids and we were able to have two workshops for the 4th and 5th grade. Below are images from his visit.
